Engineering construction refers to the new construction, expansion, and renovation of construction projects such as building engineering, pipeline and equipment installation engineering, and building decoration engineering. It is the general term for the basic production process of forming fixed assets and other related construction work.

(4) Other engineering construction work includes investment decision-making activities of the construction unit and its competent department, as well as land acquisition, engineering survey and design, engineering supervision, etc. These tasks are essential components of engineering construction.
